Chunka Mui Title Futurist, Author, and Innovation Adviser Chunka Mui explores innovation aimed at making the world a much better place. He is a strategic adviser who helps organizations design and stress test their innovation strategies. He is the best-selling author of four books on strategy and innovation including The New Killer Apps: How Large Companies Can Out-Innovate Start-Ups and Billion Dollar Lessons: What You Can Learn From the Most Inexcusable Business Failures of the Last 25 Years. Chunka is also contributor to Forbes, where he has authored more than 200 columns on strategy and innovation—including more than 40 on driverless-car-related innovation and disruption. Earlier in his career, Chunka was managing partner and chief innovation officer at Diamond Technology Partners (now part of PWC). He also cofounded and directed Vanguard, a multinational research program on emerging technologies (now TTI Vanguard) and helped establish Accenture’s Artificial Intelligence Group and Center for Strategic Technology Research (now Accenture Technology Labs). Chunka was born in Hong Kong, grew up on the south side of Chicago and now lives near the Green Mountains of Vermont. He studied life and learning at Chicago’s Saint Ignatius High School and computer engineering and artificial intelligence at MIT.
